Teacher Recruitment Tests for Central Schools

As part of the recruitment process for primary and secondary level teachers at schools run by the Centre, written exam held on September 21. The exams held at four centres in Madurai. More than 2000 applications were received for the vacancies.

The selection process is for various Central Government schools all over India, like Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya, and Sainik Schools. Written exams, as part of the recruitment process, will be held on September 21. The written exams will be held under two categories – for teachers of primary classes, the test will be held in the morning, between 8.30 AM and 11 AM; for teachers of classes 6, 7, 8 and 9, the written exams will be held in the afternoon, between 2.00 PM and 4.30 PM.

More than 2000 candidates are expected to write the tests that day. Arrangements for the exams were made by Mr. Muthaiah, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narimedu, and the Exam Centre Coordinator. The written exams will be supervised by educational officers from New Delhi.

Consultations and meetings have started at 10.00 AM, today, September 20, headed by Mr. Muthaiah, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narimedu. The centres will be managed by the Principals and teachers working in the respective schools where the examinations are being held.

A request to the teachers –
A senior teacher of Kendriya Vidyalaya has said that most teachers from Tamil Nadu hesitate to write these exams. These exams are very easy. Due to some misconception, most teachers who apply from Tamil Nadu wouldn’t appear to write the exams.

This is a very wrong notion. If teachers from Tamil Nadu attempt these exams with confidence, they can very easily succeed. The ones who get selected will be paid very well and there are options to go abroad too. The senior teacher advised young aspirants from Tamil Nadu to write these exams with confidence.
