List of Holidays for Central Government Employees during the year 2020 – DoPT Orders dated 18.6.2019
The Department of Personnel and Training under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has published a new list of holidays for Central Government Employees during the year 2020.
The office memorandum has to classes of table including list of holidays for the year 2020. One table described the list of 14 Compulsory Holidays and another is 12 Restricted Holidays. The Co-Ordination Committee at the State Capitals may draw up separate list of Restricted Holidays keeping in view the occasions of local importance but the 9 occasions left over, after choosing the 3 variable holidays are to be included in the list of restricted holidays.
