Bonus Announced for Central Government Employees
Last week, the Ministry of Finance issued orders for the issuing of Productivity Linked Bonus for Central Government employees. The calculation ceiling for payment of bonus Rs.3500 only.
The government has ignored the countless letters sent by various employees association demanding the removal of maximum bonus ceiling. The new orders continue to treat Rs. 3,500 as the ceiling limit for bonus calculation.

Last year, the Railway employees received 78 days’ pay as bonus. They are hoping that it would be more this time.
Postal employees to get 60 days bonus this year, Department of Posts issued orders recently and Ordnance Employees are also waiting for the days for bonus.
