Dear Sir,

Sub:Restructuring of IT Cadre on Railways/PUs-reg.

Ref
(i) DC/JCM Item No. 18/2007.

(ii) Railway Board’s letter No. 2011/AC-II/37/3 dated 24/03/2015 addressed to General Secretary /NFIR & AIRF.

(iii)NFIR’s letter No. II/2/Part. Vl dated 26/03/2015, 31/03/2015, 10/04/2015 & 09/06/2015 addressed to Railway Board.

(iv)Railway Board’s letter No. 2011/AC-II (CC)/37/3(Pt. I) dated 02/09/2015.

(v) NFIR’s letter no. II/2/Part VII dated 02112/2015.

Federation is constrained to bring to the notice of the Railway Board that the issue relating to the necessity for cadre Restructuring of IT Cadre on the Railways/PUs has been discussed several times and also in the last special meeting held between the Railway Board & the Federations on 09/09/2015. NFIR insisted for implementation of the ratio of 67:33 (in GP 4600 & GP 4200 respectively w.e.f. 01/11/2013 for IT cadre. Federation is disappointed to state that thereafter a period of over 3 months has passed, neither CRC meeting has been convened nor instructions granting restructuring in the IT cadre have been issued, while the staff working in all other departments have been extended the restructuring benefit more than 2 years ago.

Incidentally, Federation also desires to bring to the notice of the Board that draft Record Note of discussions of the special meeting held on 09/09/2015 between the Railway Board and the Federations, is yet to be sent by the Board to the Federations for finalization.

NFIR, therefore, urges upon the Board to kindly intervene and see that cadre restructuring of IT cadre expedited to give effect from 01/11/2013 as stated above without further delay. The draft Record Note of discussions of the special meeting may also be sent to the Federations early for finalization. Federation may be kept advised of the action taken.

Yours faithfully,
Sd/-
(Dr. M. Raghavaiah)
General Secretary
