Revision of Fitment Factor from 2.57 to 2.67 of Pay Matrix Level 13
Impact on Revision of IOR from 2.57 to 2.67 of Pay Matrix Level 13
Government of India accepted the recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commission and resolution No.1-2/2016-IC notified in the Gazette of India, dated the 25th July 2016.
And now, the Central Government has decided to make changes in the Civil Pay Matrix. The IOR of Level-13 of Civil Pay Matrix shall also be enhanced from 2.57 to 2.67. Accordingly, the Civil Pay Matrix as contained in Annexure-1 mentioned in para 6 of the aforesaid Resolution dated the 25th July, 2016 shall be revised.
The below table make it clear the enhancement of pay as per the revision of fitment factor from 2.57 to 2.67.

Revision of pay Matrix has caused reduction in pay Rather than increase because the multiplying factor for fitment is still 2.57 & if you calculate the figure it comes below 1 level in new fitment Table
For Ex: my pre revised basic + Dp =57110 , multiplying by 2.57 it is 146773
in old matrix next fitment level is 150200
but now with new table it is 147000 so it is loss of about 3200 in Basic
So central govt has reduced by by this order because multiplying factor is still 2.57 for fitment
What is the solution of this problem????

My basic pension was Rs 24195. as on 31.12.2015.Multiplying with the factor it comes to Rs 64600.as per option 2 of 7th CPC But the department has not revised my pension accordingly But is contemplating on fixing it at Rs 61550 based on option 1 .Since option 2 is in my favour legitimately I should be fixed at Rs 64600 instead of at Rs 62182 which was fixed with factor 2.57.
