    I have been promoted to the post of headclerk from the post of UDC on 10-10-2011
    in the pay band 9300-34800 + grade pay 4600. My pay fixed as under:-
    9560 +4600= 14160
    Sir, as per Rule 13(i) of the CCS(RP) rules 2008 (If the the pay in the pay band after adding the increment less than the minimum of the higher pay band which promotion is taking place, pay in the pay band will be stepped to such minimum).

    Before promotion my pay band 5200-20200 +2400 GP
    After promotion my pay band 9300-34800 +4600 GP
    in my case both pay band and grade pay changed
    As per 6CPC index
    4600 +12540 ==17140 should be fixed

    Kindly help me sir.
